Regional Science Centre

Year 6 visited the regional science centre in Oldham on Monday 10th September where they were learning how to extract DNA from a kiwi fruit.

  1. I really enjoyed learning about DNA and finding out what DNA stands for. It was really interesting to see the white strands form between the kiwi juice and the alcohol.

  2. That looks really interesting Year6 I love the Regional Science Centre… I have just ‘looked up’ what DNA stands for ‘deoxyribonucleic acid’..
