We had a fantastic day for World Book Day, we created our own bookmarks to match our current Guided Reading book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We also enjoyed completing a few quizzes, including The Masked Singer and Book Catchphrases. Then we ended our day reading The Ickabog whilst enjoying a cupcake.
We had a great time working together to practice our handball skills. Mr Jackson showed us how important clear communication is whilst playing within a team.
We had a great afternoon creating our watercolour rivers.
Last week, Year 3 planned and designed their own robo-bugs. These designs had to include adaptations and features to help the robo-bugs complete their tasks e.g. exploration or construction.
As part of British Science Week, we are learning about the Met Office. We are using rain gauges to measure the amount of rainfall. We will continue to do this over next week and we will be making a graph to show how much rain fall there was on each day.
