School Clubs
Millie’s Dance Workshop
Over the last five weeks, 15 children from Years 5+6 have been coming to an ‘Early Morning Dance Session’ starting at 8am. They have a learnt a routine from the musical Annie and performed it to the rest of the school. Everyone was very impressed with the dancing and the children have really enjoyed getting up early and coming to school to dance! Well done.
Sewing Club
On a Tuesday and Friday lunchtime we attended the sewing club and made bookmarks. We learnt how to do different stitches like chain stitch, running stitch, flower stitch and cross stitch. Some of us did the bookmarks for our family and some of us did them for ourselves and some of us did them for our friends.
We all enjoyed it!
Thriller
This half term there has been a dance club for year 2, and in just 6 weeks we learnt this dance to Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’.
Cross Country running
on Saturday 1st October the first cross country event of the school year took part. MrBennett & Mrs Graysn were delights at how many families turned up to take part and support. We even had 3 children take part in the KS1 event. Overall everyone did well and we have made a great start to the year. A special well done to Blake and Scarlett who came second in their events, and to Millie who came third.
